Komu found Catsanova at Steel Lake Park in Federal Way. It was a bit warm and dry, but not a problem. This was the first time finding a different cat, and Komu did a little hesitation just at the instant of discovery. We aren't sure if it was because the cat smelled different, or if Catsanova gave a low growl that we couldn't hear but Komu could. It didn't dampen his enthusiasm, but we all noticed the slight hesitation.

Komu didn't find the cat until he was pretty close, because of the wind direction. I didn't know where the cat was, and we just worked the general area, like a regular search. We worked past the carrier about 10 feet until we were downwind of it, and then Komu's nose came up. He worked back, and found the kitty in the bushes.
